Brilliant by Langham, the loyalty and experience platform from Langham Hospitality Group, is expanding its cultural offering through a collaboration with Dream in Peony Pavilion, a contemporary dance drama inspired by Tang Xianzu’s celebrated work. Taking place in Shanghai from 16 to 18 October 2026, the programme will bring Brilliant members closer to one of China’s most enduring cultural stories through privileged access, intimate cultural exchange and curated hospitality.
The collaboration is presented under Brilliant Atelier, a series of cultural and creative experiences curated for Brilliant by Langham members. By bringing together access to the production, direct engagement with its performers and specially curated hotel stays, the programme extends the value of Brilliant membership into culture and the arts.
Presented at Shanghai Culture Square, Dream in Peony Pavilion reimagines the themes of love, longing and self-discovery from Tang Xianzu’s Dream in Peony Pavilion through contemporary dance. Brilliant members will have the opportunity to access tickets in the production’s premier seating section, ensuring an elevated viewing experience. Separately, Brilliant members and invited guests will be welcomed to an exclusive Brilliant Cultural Salon at The Langham, Shanghai, Xintiandi, featuring an intimate conversation with the production’s performing talents on the creative process, artistic influences and contemporary interpretation behind the work.
The cultural journey will continue through curated Brilliant Cultural Escape packages from The Langham, Shanghai, Xintiandi and Cordis, Shanghai, Hongqiao, combining accommodation with performance tickets. Together, the performance and distinctive stays at the two hotels will extend members’ journey through Dream in Peony Pavilion beyond the stage.
