Beginning from 1 December, guests staying across Resplendent Ceylon can learn more about the work of the MJF Charitable Foundation and make a contribution towards its initiatives supporting children, families and communities across Sri Lanka.
The MJF Charitable Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Dilmah Ceylon Tea and Resplendent Ceylon, founded on the belief that “business is a matter of human service”. Working across communities throughout Sri Lanka, the Foundation seeks to create meaningful and lasting change through initiatives spanning education, community development and support for children and families. Its work is closely connected to the regions in which Resplendent Ceylon operates, ensuring the benefits of tourism extend beyond the resorts and into the communities that surround them.
With local schools closed for the December holidays, guests will instead have the opportunity to donate to the Foundation, supporting its work throughout the year and offering a meaningful way to give back during the festive season.

High in Sri Lanka’s Central Highlands, Ceylon Tea Trails is deeply connected to the tea country and communities that surround its historic planter bungalows.
The nearby MJF Centre works closely with local communities, providing guests with an insight into the Foundation’s broader work across Sri Lanka’s tea country.
