The finalists for The Bizzies Awards 2026 have been announced, recognising excellence, innovation, and leadership across the business events industry.
Now in its second year, The Bizzies Awards celebrate the individuals, organisations, and initiatives that drive outstanding outcomes across Aotearoa New Zealand’s business events landscape.
“It’s wonderful to see such a strong and diverse group of finalists this year,” says Rachel Cook, Co-Chair of The Bizzies.
“Our industry is built on incredibly talented people and teams who put so much into creating great experiences and delivering exceptional events. The Bizzies give us an opportunity to recognise that work, share the stories behind it, and celebrate the contribution our industry makes across Aotearoa.”
Entries were assessed by an independent panel of judges drawn from across the business events sector, representing venues, destinations, organisers and suppliers.

Winners will be announced at The Bizzies awards night on Wednesday 28 October 2026 at Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre, a night for the industry to celebrate the year that was and the people who made it happen.
“The calibre of this year’s entries reflects the excellence we see right across our industry, and the incredible talent we have here in Aotearoa,” says Alana Bicknell, Co-Chair of The Bizzies.
“The Bizzies exist to shine a light on that excellence, and I’m looking forward to a fantastic night celebrating our finalists at Te Pae in Christchurch.”
