Australian travellers booking a Qantas flight at home this month can earn a new points boost. World360 Rewards is giving members 250 extra points on eligible Qantas domestic bookings made in September.

The deal runs from 1 to 30 September 2026. It can end sooner if the set pool of bonus points runs out. Members also earn the usual World360 rate of one point for each dollar spent on an eligible Qantas domestic fare.

The deal is open through Flight Centre, Travel Associates and Cruiseabout. Flight Centre customers can book in store or online. Different booking rules apply to the other brands. Jetstar flights and codeshare flights do not count.

That is where the maths starts to look quite pleasant.

A member may earn World360 points on the fare, the 250-point boost and standard Qantas Points if the flight qualifies. A rewards credit card may add another layer, subject to the card issuer’s own rules.

In short, one flight can feed more than one points pot. No sleight of hand is needed. It simply pays to read the terms before booking.

Clinton Hearne, Executive General Manager of World360 Rewards, said the aim was to give members more value while keeping the rewards they already use.

“Our members don’t have to choose between loyalty programs. They can double and triple dip on bookings and get bonus points on top,” Hearne said.

That point matters. World360 is built to work beside airline and card schemes rather than ask people to pick just one. Flight Centre itself promotes the ability to earn World360 Rewards points alongside airline frequent-flyer rewards and eligible card rewards.

Qantas also sees the deal as a way to add value for people flying within Australia.

Kathryn Robertson, Qantas Executive Manager Australasia Sales, Distribution and Modern Retailing, said the airline was “always looking for ways to give our customers more value, wherever they’re flying”.

Robertson’s current Qantas role has also been reported in the Australian travel trade this year, reinforcing the senior commercial weight behind the tie-up.

How the Qantas World360 Rewards offer works

The steps are simple. Members should give their World360 Rewards number when they book. They must pay the required deposit during the deal period, or pay in full if the fare rules demand it. Bonus points can take up to seven days after travel to reach the member’s account.

There is some fine print, of course. If you cancel the booking, you won’t receive the bonus, or it may be taken back. A change to the booking may also mean the trip no longer meets the rules.

Travel Associates Member Businesses and Travel Associates at Home are left out. Jetstar-operated services and codeshares are also excluded. The formal terms say the bonus is awarded once per booking to each qualifying member passenger.

Qantas Frequent Flyer members can still earn Qantas Points where the fare and flight meet the airline’s normal eligibility rules. Membership is required to earn and use Qantas Points, and some fare types or booking classes may not earn points.

Loyalty goes from one dip to three

The Qantas deal is part of a wider move by World360 Rewards to give members more ways to earn. Current earn partners and bonus deals include travel names such as Collette, AmaWaterways and Back-Roads Touring.

For the travel trade, the message is simple. Loyalty is no longer just about choosing one scheme and sticking with it. More travellers now stack value across a booking. Retail points, airline points and card rewards can all sit side by side.

For regular flyers, that has an obvious appeal. A work trip, family visit or weekend break may already be on the calendar. If the flight is going ahead anyway, a few more points are better in your account than left on the runway.

The deal is open for eligible bookings made from 1 to 30 September 2026, unless the bonus pool is used sooner.
