JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group has announced that Four Points by Sheraton Sydney, Central Park has been sold to Singapore-based Hoi Hup Realty Pte Ltd (“Hoi Hup”) for A$201.8 million, marking the group’s first entry into the Australian property market.
Opened in late 2018, Four Points by Sheraton Sydney, Central Park now features 309 guest rooms, including 45 suites, plus a recently renovated bar and restaurant, fitness centre, 44 dedicated car parking spaces, and 270 sqm of conference and meeting space.
The hotel originally opened with 297 rooms, with 12 additional guest rooms later created by converting an under-utilised conference floor.
JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group worked in conjunction with CBRE Hotels on the transaction, which followed a highly competitive bidding process and underscored continued offshore and domestic investor appetite for quality Sydney hotel assets.
Gus Moors, Managing Director at JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group, said: “This transaction highlights the ongoing strength of the Sydney hotel investment market. Through our Asia Pacific platform, we were able to drive strong interest and a competitive bidding process that drove pricing. Ultimately, we were able to work closely with Hoi Hup to navigate through this complex deal.”
Andrew Langsford, Executive Vice President, Hotels & Hospitality at JLL, added: “Four Points by Sheraton Sydney, Central Park offered investors the opportunity to acquire a modern, well-located asset in the heart of Tech Central. This deal reaffirms Sydney as one of the most desired hotel investment destinations globally and supports an active transaction market as we move towards the end of this year and into 2027.”
