Five sales. One free trip. That is the neat pitch behind a new trade reward from Explore Worldwide. It may have agents reaching for both the booking form and their passport.
The Explore Worldwide agent incentive gives travel agents in Australia and New Zealand the chance to earn a free small-group trip. To qualify, they must make five firm bookings from 1 April to 31 December 2026.
It is a clear and useful offer. Better still, it runs through key sales times such as Europe Early Bird and Black Friday. The timing gives agents another strong reason to put Explore in front of clients who want an active or culture-rich break.
Five bookings earn the prize
Each of the five bookings must have the full 10 per cent deposit paid. Once Explore has the fifth deposit, the agent may book the free trip.
The live 5-for-1 terms now set the trip credit at A$3,500 or NZ$3,500, based on the agent’s home market. This is higher than the A$2,500 sum in the first trade release.
An agent may choose a trip above that value. If so, Explore charges the extra amount at half the listed price under its agent rate.
You must book the free trip by 31 January 2027. It must leave by 31 December 2027. The live offer page lists tours such as Upgraded – Highlights of Cambodia, Best of Northern Thailand, Highlights of Costa Rica, Highlights of Sri Lanka and Simply Vietnam.
One friend or partner may join the agent on the same tour and gain 25 per cent off. After all, a fine sunset is much easier to sell when someone else can confirm you saw it.
A sales lesson with better views
Ben Ittensohn, Regional Director AUNZ at Explore Worldwide, said: “We’re always looking for ways to recognise and reward our trade partners, and this programme gives agents the opportunity to experience Explore for themselves while rewarding them for supporting our adventures.”
He said the aim was to let agents try the brand for themselves while thanking them for their sales support.
That first-hand view has real trade value. An agent can learn how the tour runs, how the group works and what clients will see each day. Those facts can build trust at the sales desk. A brochure starts the chat; time on tour brings the detail to life.
The five-booking goal also puts the reward within reach of more agents. It is still a target nobody is handing out boarding passes for a brave smile, but it does not demand huge sales volume.
There are some firm rules. The free place is subject to space. You cannot pass it to another person. Flights, optional tours, some meals and daily costs are not part of the prize. No more than two free agents may join the same tour. Polar and Galápagos cruises, Eclipse tours and some private departures are not included.
Agents should review the full terms and current trip list before booking. For those who hit five valid sales, the reward is plain. See the product and know it well. Then come home better placed to sell it. That is staff training with a welcome change of scenery.

Sandra has spent a working lifetime quietly rescuing journeys, one itinerary, one anxious caller, one impossible connection at a time. Years in Australia’s finest travel agencies taught her the art of calm, how to find a flight in a fog of cancellations, how to soothe a traveller when luggage wanders, how to turn nine frantic days in Europe into something resembling sense. Qualified, seasoned, endlessly patient, she learned that good travel advice is part logistics, part listening.
But the storyteller in her was always waiting its turn. Writing offered a new map, a way to turn experience into reflection, detail into delight. At Global Travel Media, Sandra now writes the truths only insiders know: the mishaps, the laughter, the grace found between gates and goodbyes. She reminds us that travel, for all its fuss, is still one of life’s better ideas.
