At the beginning of the summer season, Prague became a vibrant meeting point for North American buyers specialising in VIP groups, luxury travel and high-end incentive programmes. As the host destination of The Meetings Space NORAM Summer 2026, the Czech capital welcomed 33 buyers eager to discover what makes Prague an inspiring destination for meetings and events.
The forum, held from 7th to 9th July, brought together a total of 92 delegates, including international buyers, suppliers and industry professionals. Following three days in Prague, the event continued in Vienna, giving participants the opportunity to experience two exceptional Central European destinations in one programme. Prague Convention Bureau brought the forum to Prague with the ambition of showcasing the city’s unconventional spirit and its strong potential for meetings and incentive travel through authentic, first-hand destination experiences. From the very first moments, delegates were invited to experience Prague beyond traditional site inspections. Hosted buyers enjoyed a welcome lunch at the Old Town Square, setting the tone for the days ahead with contemporary Czech gastronomy and warm hospitality.
The pre-event programme designed for the hosted buyers then revealed another side of the city. Inspired by Dan Brown’s recently published novel The Secret of Secrets, whose story unfolds in Prague, delegates explored the city’s hidden corners, mysterious legends and bohemian atmosphere through guided walking tours. Designed and organised by Prague Convention Bureau, the programme aimed not only to introduce first-time visitors to Prague, but also to offer returning guests a fresh perspective on the destination.
Following a first all-together networking dinner hosted by Almanac X Alcron Prague, the second day was dedicated to pre-scheduled B2B meetings connecting North American buyers with Prague and international suppliers. Prague’s meetings industry was represented by the Prague Convention Bureau, Almanac X Alcron Prague, Fairmont Golden Prague, Hilton Prague Old Town, IMS Prague, Prague Exhibition Grounds and Prague Marriott Hotel, showcasing the diversity and quality of the city’s MICE offering for VIP groups and high-end incentives.
To refresh before the evening program, the second day afternoon was devoted to destination experience. Cruise along the Vltava River or visits to Prague’s iconic landmarks offered participants an authentic glimpse into the experiences that can transform an event into something truly memorable.
The Prague programme culminated in a memorable gala dinner hosted by Prague Convention Bureau at the magnificent Lobkowicz Palace at the Prague Castle, overlooking the city’s stunning panorama. Against the backdrop of one of Prague’s most iconic landmarks, delegates enjoyed an evening of exceptional cuisine, inspiring conversations and captivating opera and musical performances – an experience reflecting the elegance, creativity and cultural richness that Prague can bring to international events.
“Every event at Lobkowicz Palace tells a story, and hosting the gala dinner for The Meetings Space NORAM Summer 2026 was no exception. Welcoming leading North American buyers to such a historic venue allowed us to present Prague at its very best – through exceptional gastronomy, outstanding service and authentic cultural experiences. We believe that memorable events are created by emotion, and we were proud to contribute to an evening that truly captured the spirit of Prague,” says Pavel Hýsek, Director of Sales & Events, House of Lobkowicz.
As the forum continued to Vienna after a final morning of B2B meetings and a farewell lunch, participants departed with new business connections, fresh inspiration and, hopefully, a lasting appreciation for Prague as a destination where business and unforgettable experiences naturally come together.
“Hosting The Meetings Space NORAM Summer 2026 was a valuable opportunity to present Prague to a carefully selected group of high-quality North American buyers through both focused business meetings and authentic destination experiences. For Prague Convention Bureau and our local partners, the forum brought direct exposure to planners working with VIP groups, luxury travel and high-end incentive programmes, while confirming Prague’s strong potential as a creative, professional and memorable meetings destination,” says Roman Muška, Managing Director, Prague Convention Bureau.
Our sincere thanks go to all partners, suppliers and delegates whose enthusiasm, professionalism and collaboration made the Prague edition of The Meetings Space NORAM Summer 2026 such a success.
