Club Med, the world’s leading premium all-inclusive holiday concept since 1950, celebrated the launch of its new partnership with Pop Padel, marking the start of a multi-year collaboration built around one shared belief: sport is best enjoyed together. The collaboration will bring a series of activations to Singapore from 2026 to 2027, comprising tournaments, junior coaching and family focused events.
Padel’s rise as one of the world’s fastest-growing sports is no accident. Its low barrier to entry and inherently social format makes it easy for anyone to pick up a racket, regardless of age or ability. For Club Med, that ethos is a natural extension of a brand built on family holidays and open-air connection; padel is now offered at most Club Med resorts globally. For Pop Padel, this partnership brings that same spirit home to Singapore.
Both brands share the same philosophy that sport is a social connector, which brings people together. There is a strong overlap in audiences, comprising multi-generational families and active adults. In recent years, padel has become a key growth sport for Club Med and is now available at most Club Med resorts, making Pop Padel’s role as a community hub, and one of Singapore’s few indoor padel facilities, the ideal partner to share this new endeavour.
“Padel is a natural fit for Club Med because it is energetic, social and inclusive,” said Olivier Monceau, General Manager for Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia at Club Med. “Whether guests are complete beginners, experienced players, families or groups of friends, padel creates an easy way for people to connect. Through our new partnership with Pop Padel, we are excited to bring this spirit to life in Singapore and beyond.”
The collaboration centres on three activations from now until 2027: Club Med Cup, Club Med Padel Academy and Club Med Family Cup.
Club Med Cup, 1 to 4 October 2026
Following the success of last year’s tournament, the Club Med Cup returns as Club Med’s premier padel event. This year’s edition will be held at Pop Padel, with the benefit of sheltered courts. Registrations will open on 1 August 2026, with the competition running from 1 to 4 October 2026. The mixed doubles champions will be invited to compete at the Club Med Grand Slam in Club Med Phuket this November, and the overall Grand Slam winner will take home a trip to Club Med South Africa Resort and Spa. Other prizes include resort stays in Bintan, Kani and Phuket, along with prizes from long standing partner Babolat, marking over 25 years of collaboration between Club Med and Babolat. More information is available at www.clubmed.com.sg/l/club-med-cup.
Club Med Padel Academy, 17 October 2026, 3pm to 5pm
The Club Med Padel Academy will welcome young players ages 6 to 12 for a hands-on padel clinic. The session will be run by Timote Leow and his wife Anais, who were the 2025 Club Med Grand Slam champions and familiar faces within Singapore’s padel community. The academy reflects Club Med’s aim to introduce children to padel at an early age and reinforces its position as the world’s largest sports school.
Club Med Family Cup, Q1 2027
In the first quarter of 2027, Club Med will introduce the Club Med Family Cup, a first of its kind padel tournament in Singapore built around family pairs, with participants required to be related to one another. True to Club Med’s family-first philosophy, the tournament will be complemented by family-focused fringe activities designed to celebrate play, connection and togetherness. Further details to be announced closer to the event date.
