This July, Le Méridien Melbourne will be completely reimagined as Kérastase Society arrives in Australia for the first time, bringing a full-hotel takeover to the city’s famed Paris End.
From Friday 10 July to Sunday 12 July 2026, Kérastase, the world’s leading luxury professional haircare brand, will take over the entire hotel for a multi-level immersive experience where beauty, hospitality, design, music and after-dark culture meet. Set at the top end of Bourke Street, Le Méridien Melbourne offers a fitting stage for the concept, pairing Parisian spirit with the energy of Melbourne’s CBD.
Following earlier editions in Paris and Milan, Kérastase Society Melbourne marks the third global destination for the concept before it continues to Amsterdam, New York, Munich, London, Bucharest and Lisbon. Each edition is tailored to its city, and in Melbourne, the experience will bring together local culinary direction, hotel spaces, music and design through a distinctly Le Méridien lens.
Across the weekend, the hotel will become a complete Kérastase world, unfolding from the façade and lobby to the underground restaurant, late-night club spaces and exclusive suites. Guests will move through a series of immersive moments inspired by Kérastase’s most-loved product ranges, with styling appointments, beauty technology, product discovery, collectible details and culinary touchpoints woven throughout the experience.
INTERMISSION, the hotel’s chic lobby café and bar, will transform into the Glazed Café, a luminous destination inspired by Kérastase Gloss Absolu and Glaze Drops. Guests can expect polished, playful treats, glazed drinks and signature French madeleines, with culinary direction led by Le Méridien Melbourne’s Bordeaux-born, Michelin-trained Executive Chef Hervé Borghini.
From there, guests can continue to the Glow-Up Lounge, located within Le Méridien Melbourne’s Event Studios on the hotel’s dedicated events floor. Here, Kérastase will bring its professional haircare expertise to life through dry styling appointments and personalised scalp and hair diagnosis, powered by the brand’s innovative K-Scan beauty tech device. Inspired by the spirit of the 1960s, when Kérastase was founded, the lounge reinterprets the cues of a classic salon through a modern, immersive and highly tactile lens.
As the day moves into night, DOLLY, Le Méridien Melbourne’s underground European restaurant and cocktail bar, will become the Social Club. Inspired by the intense violet tones of Kérastase Blond Absolu, the space will lean into retro club culture, vinyl, art books, vintage televisions and late-night connection. By day, the atmosphere is laid-back and glossy. By night, it becomes louder, moodier and more electric.
For guests looking to extend the experience, Kérastase Suites will be available to book across three exclusive hotel levels. Designed as a beauty-led staycation fantasy, the suites will bring the Kérastase world into the bedroom, bathroom and bedside table, with curated products, collectible objects, sleep masks and thoughtful details designed to make the stay feel both intimate and highly styled.
A dedicated Kérastase retail space will also be available throughout the weekend, offering product collections, special merchandise and exclusive gift-with-purchase moments.

Kérastase Society will be open across the weekend from Friday 10 July to Sunday 12 July 2026. K-Scan and hair styling sessions will be available from 9.30am to 6.00pm, with Kérastase Social Club open from 7.00pm until late on Saturday 11 July and Sunday 12 July.
