Conceived as a compact world of exploration, The Fossil Room blends fossil-inspired details, organic materials, and carefully curated educational elements to create an environment that feels both playful and transportive. Though modest in scale, every detail has been intentionally considered to balance imagination with calm, allowing children to intuitively connect with nature through discovery and hands-on learning.
A muted palette of earthy tones grounds the space, while intentionally curated décor, from preserved specimens and animal skeletons to aged explorer’s instruments including telescopes and compasses echo the organic architectural language of Wild Coast Tented Lodge. These nostalgic references are thoughtfully juxtaposed with contemporary learning tools including microscopes, litmus papers, canvases and hands-on materials that encourage experimentation and creativity.
