Adventure World has unveiled a new great-value Vietnam itinerary designed to make one of Asia’s most sought-after destinations more accessible for Australian and New Zealand travellers, without compromising on experience.

Launching for a limited 2026 travel, A Taste of Vietnam is a 10-day journey through Vietnam’s three most iconic cities – Hanoi, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh City – combining thoughtful inclusions, immersive culinary experiences and domestic flights from just AU$1,869/NZ$2,255 per person twin share.

Perfect for first-time visitors or returning travellers looking to rediscover Vietnam, the itinerary includes centrally located accommodation, daily breakfast, private airport transfers and domestic flights between Hanoi, Danang and Ho Chi Minh City, removing much of the logistical complexity often associated with multi-city travel in South East Asia.

At the heart of the itinerary are three distinctly different culinary experiences designed to showcase Vietnam’s rich regional identities and deeply social food culture.

In Hanoi, guests are introduced to the flavours of the capital on a guided street food walking tour through the city’s bustling laneways and local neighbourhoods. From fragrant bowls of phở and crispy nem rĂ¡n to bĂ¡nh mì, sweet treats and the city’s famous egg coffee, the experience offers a sensory introduction to northern Vietnamese cuisine and everyday local life.

In Hoi An, guests move from tasting to creating during a hands-on cooking class at the renowned Red Bridge Cooking School. After exploring a vibrant local market alongside residents and selecting fresh herbs, seafood and produce, guests cruise along the Thu Bon River by private boat before learning traditional cooking techniques from local chefs and preparing authentic Vietnamese dishes themselves.

The journey then concludes in Ho Chi Minh City with a vibrant after-dark foodie adventure by scooter. Riding pillion through bustling streets, hidden laneways and lively residential districts, guests sample southern Vietnamese specialities including bĂ¡nh xèo, fresh seafood, local desserts and Vietnamese-style beef stew, while gaining an insider’s perspective on Saigon’s famously energetic food scene and nightlife culture.

Together, the experiences highlight the diversity of Vietnam’s cuisine from north to south, while also offering guests a deeper understanding of the country’s history, traditions and community life through food.

Beyond these curated culinary moments, the itinerary is intentionally paced to include free time in each city, allowing guests to independently explore Vietnam’s vibrant street food scenes, cultural sites and atmospheric neighbourhoods at their own pace.

Adventure World says the itinerary has also been intentionally designed with flexibility in mind, allowing travel advisors to easily tailor and extend the journey based on client interests and budget. Popular additions include luxury overnight cruises in Halong Bay, immersive stays in the Mekong Delta, or further exploration throughout central Vietnam.

Designed as a limited-season 2026 offering, A Taste of Vietnam is available for travel from 1 July to 31 October 2026, with bookings required by 30 September 2026. Prices start from AU$1,869/NZ$2,255 per person twin share. Terms and conditions apply.
