Following a powerful debut in 2025, “FISE: Battle of the Champions 2026” – hosted in collaboration with Melco Resorts & Entertainment, Rakuten Sports, and Hurricane Group – is officially returning to Studio City from March 13–15, 2026. Highlighting Melco’s commitment to establishing high-caliber sporting events and furthering the vision of transforming Macau into a global ‘City of Sports’, the world’s top Skateboarders will once again gather in Macau for an exclusive event celebrating performance, style, and the unique culture of Street Skateboarding.
Mr. Kevin Benning, Senior Vice President and Property General Manager of Studio City, said, “We are excited to team up with Rakuten Sports and Hurricane Group to bring ‘FISE: Battle of The Champions 2026’ back to Studio City for the second consecutive year. This high-energy competition is set to captivate urban sports fans and extreme sports enthusiasts with elite skateboarding and nonstop action. We believe the event will allow our guests to experience world-class skateboarding while discovering the vibrant culture and unique offerings of both Macau and Melco, contributing to the city’s economic diversification.”
FIRST QUALIFIED ATHLETES
The road to Macau is officially underway. Building on the success of last event’s intense battles, the 1v1 tournament format is back and ready to deliver another round of elite-level action, energy, and creativity.
At the FISE Shanghai Street contests (October 16–19, 2025), Juni Kang (KOR) and Hong Yun (CHN) rose to the top and claimed their golden tickets to the 2026 Battle of the Champions. Kang impressed with a precise, technical run capped by a flawless nollie 270 noseslide, while Hong delivered a smooth, confident performance in front of her home crowd.
They will now join a select group of international skaters invited to the event, with the full lineup set to be revealed in the coming months. The 2026 roster promises a mix of returning stars, rising talents, and key figures from the global Skateboarding scene.
A NEW PARK & NEW ATMOSPHERE FOR 2026: A TRIBUTE TO RETRO MACAU
Designed and built by Hurricane Parks, the 2026 edition to be hosted at Studio City will embrace a fresh creative direction that is inspired by the integrated resort’s cinematic theme. This year’s event will take skaters and fans on a nostalgic visual journey through Retro Macau and Hong Kong film culture, blending neon aesthetics, iconic landmarks, and vintage influences into a one-of-a-kind skateboarding experience.
As preparations accelerate, excitement continues to build around what promises to be one of the standout action sports events of 2026. More details, including the full athlete lineup, schedule, and park reveal, will be announced soon.
