The time change this coming Sunday, 26 October 2025, not only marks the beginning of wintertime, but also the start of a new travel season. The start of the 2025/2026 winter flight schedule sees BER expanding its services to include new destinations and optimised connections. In total, 70 airlines will fly to 130 destinations in 50 countries. The winter flight schedule offers numerous opportunities for spontaneous weekend trips, winter sports adventures or sunny getaways to southern climes. The top travel destinations from BER are Spain, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Italy and Switzerland.
New routes in the 2025/2026 winter flight schedule
Condoris significantly expanding its flights from BER in the winter flight schedule. This winter, the airline will operate five daily flights, or 35 each week, in total from the capital’s airport. From 3 November, there will be three flights a day toFrankfurt am Main, with one additional flight at lunchtime. In addition,Dubaiin the United Arab Emirates andHurghadain Egypt will each be included in the daily flight schedule from BER.
Croatia Airlinesis offering direct flights toZagrebfor the first time this winter. Every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday modern Airbus A220 aircraft will connect BER directly with the Croatian capital.
easyJetisexpanding its routes from BER. Starting on 27 October, the airline will fly twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, toSevillein southern Spain. On 7 November, a new connection to the British capital will be added withLondon Southend. The route will be flown on Mondays and Fridays.
Eurowingsis adding a new long-haul destination to the BER flight schedule.Abu Dhabiin the United Arab Emirates will be flown three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays starting on 3 November. The airline is also significantly expanding its connection toDubai, similarly in the United Arab Emirates. Travellers can choose between two destination airports: the central Dubai International Airport (DXB), which will see daily flights from 26 October, and Dubai World Central Airport (DWC), with four flights each week from 4 November (currently up to three times each week). Furthermore, Eurowings will be flying to Jeddahin Saudi Arabia twice a week this winter, on Mondays and Fridays. In addition, the Lufthansa subsidiary will be flying to two very different winter destinations: from 9 November, there will be one weekly flight on Sundays to sunnyMarsa Alamin Egypt, and between 31 January and 21 March 2026 to snowyKittiläin Finland.
flynaswill also be flying toJeddahin Saudi Arabia again in its winter schedule. There will be non-stop flights from the capital region to the Red Sea coast three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Since October 16,SKY expresshas been flying from BER to the Greek capital four times each week on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. ViaAthens, the airline has the largest domestic route network in Greece, offering numerous connecting flights to almost all the country’s regions and islands.
Royal Jordanianis further expanding its flight programme to Jordan and now flies toAmmanfour times each week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and now also Sundays.
Transavia Franceis expanding its routes from BER with two winter sun destinations in Morocco. Since October 26, the airline has been flying toMarrakeshtwice a week on Thursdays and Sundays.Agadirwill follow on 30 October, also twice a week on Thursdays and Saturdays. In addition, Transavia France will continue its twice-weekly service toNantes, France, on Mondays and Fridays in the winter schedule and will continue to fly several times a day toParis-OrlyAirport.
Wizz Airis launching a new connection to the Romanian capitalBucharestat the start of the winter flight schedule. The route will be flown up to five times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. In several weeks, an additional flight will be offered on Wednesdays. Furthermore, Wizz Air is increasing frequencies on several routes. There will now be four flights a week toVarnain Bulgaria. That is two additional flights each week.Chişinăuin Moldova will be served four times a week at the start of the winter flight schedule, and then five times a week from December 16 – an increase of first two, then three flights each week. Wizz Air flies toTiranain Albania six to seven times a week. One to two flights each week will be added here as well. Overall, Wizz Air will offer 33% more flights in the coming winter schedule. The additional use of larger and more modern A321neo aircraft will provide 44% more seats than in the 2024/2025 winter schedule. The airline has also already announced two new destinations for the upcoming summer schedule: starting in March 2026, it will fly to Bratislava and Tuzla.
