Food is celebrated with great gusto at Vitznauerhof, and guests are quickly won over by their culinary experiences. Whether dining al fresco on the Panorama Terrace or indoors in Inspiration, the hotel’s stylish restaurant, no one leaves the table hungry. For special occasions, the hotel’s Sens restaurant, located in a separate building, can be reserved for private use. Drinks, too, are cause for celebration here; the bar just off the main lobby is a focal point of discreet socialising among the hotel’s sophisticated clientele.

On this front, Vitznauerhof’s spa offers various treatments, but the unique gondola sauna immediately adjacent to the lake provides an experience that is not to be missed. The retrofitted gondola car looks on the outside just like the many others still in service above the heads of skiers and other visitors to Switzerland’s scenic peaks; on the inside are the wood benches and steaming stones of a dry sauna in one of the world’s most picturesque locations. Although the gondola sauna is no longer used for transport, Vitznauerhof offers guests another mode of transport: a stylish Lucid electric luxury sedan.
