The Brisbane Showgrounds is looking forward to a bumper 2025, starting the year with its highest-ever number of forward bookings.
By the end of 2024, the dollar value of contracted events for 2025 was 20 per cent above the Brisbane Showgrounds’ end-of-year target.
This includes both new and repeat business, including the Brisbane Gin Festival in April, which will be held at the venue for the first time and expected to attract around 4,000 people, plus the Let’s Go Queensland Caravan and Camping Supershow returning in June for its 47th year.
It comes off the back of a fantastic 2024, which saw almost 200 events staged at the Brisbane Showgrounds including Queensland’s largest event, Ekka, and nine large-scale music festivals.
Brisbane Showgrounds General Manager of Venue Sales and Marketing Jago Coyle said it was a testament to the venue’s dedicated teams who work together to deliver outstanding customer service.
“From selling these events to planning, logistics, operations and the incredible delivery of food and beverage, our reputation for delivering excellence is shown through the strong contracted business in place for 2025,” he said.
“We are excited about the busy year ahead and look forward to working with our clients to ensure every event is a success.”
