A New Addition with a Local Flair

Joining the team for the 2025 season is Giacomo Dringoli, a Tuscan native whose deep-rooted passion for the region brings an elevated authenticity to the program. Dringoli, who grew up in Montefollonico, embodies the spirit of Tuscany with his extensive knowledge of its traditions, cuisine, and rich heritage. As the program’s logistics coordinator and resident co-host, Giacomo ensures guests feel deeply connected to the community.

“We are honored to have Giacomo as part of our Tuscan Women Cook family,” says Coleen Kirnan, owner and host of the program. “His love for Montefollonico and commitment to preserving its heritage align perfectly with our mission of offering guests an immersive journey into the heart of Italian culture.”

From coordinating local excursions to sharing generations-old family recipes, Dringoli enhances the Tuscan Women Cook experience with his storytelling and relationships within the community. His connection with local nonnas (grandmothers) gives guests a warm, familial welcome and a rare glimpse into Tuscan life.

A Culinary Journey Rooted in Tradition

The heart of Tuscan Women Cook lies in its culinary workshops, led by local nonnas and seasoned artisans. These classes go beyond cooking; they celebrate heritage, fostering a deep appreciation for the simplicity and beauty of Tuscan cuisine.
