12 Weeks of High-Stakes Challenges

The competition starts with a bang, featuring a launch video starring Survivor Australia icon King George. From January 6 through March 31, travel advisors will compete in weekly challenges released on the GFOB Trade Facebook Group. Two advisors from each state who demonstrate unparalleled skills will advance to an all-expenses-paid showdown in Sydney this April. The stakes couldn’t be higher as they vie for the ultimate prize: an unforgettable Avalon Waterways river cruise.

How It Works

GFOB will unveil the week’s challenge on its trade Facebook group every Monday. Advisors must complete tasks by the specified deadlines to qualify for weekly prizes and maintain their spot in the competition. Winners will be announced within the group and contacted directly by GFOB. Prizes will be distributed via local Business Development Managers.

Eligibility and Participation Requirements

The competition is open to all Australian and New Zealand travel advisors. Key details include:

  • Eligibility: Individual advisors, not agencies, are invited to participate.
  • Challenge Completion: Each task must be completed within the stipulated time unless specified as a non-elimination round.
  • Booking Requirements: For booking-related challenges, deposits of $500 per person (Globus and Cosmos) or $750 per person (Avalon) must be made during the challenge period.
  • Exclusions: Group bookings are not eligible for this promotion.

Kicking Off Week One: A Social Media Showdown

To enter the first challenge, advisors must craft a compelling public social media post showcasing why they deserve the Survivor crown. Posts should emphasize their trust in the Globus family of brands for delivering exceptional client experiences. Remember to include the hashtag #GlobusAllStars. Submissions close on Sunday, January 12, so get creative and post quickly to secure your spot in the next round.
