There’s not much to report this week as everyone heads off for a break.
VIETNAM AIRLINES has released a Sky Sofa package so you can enjoy a comfortable row in the economy-class cabin. Now available on direct flights between Australia and Vietnam, the economy flex cost is from $US400 (about $650).
EMIRATES Skywards members who register by January 24 will earn double miles on Emirates and flydubai flights until 23 March 2025.
FAR EAST INSIDERS has an extensive portfolio of hotels in Asia. The 2025 New Year Getaways offers include up to 43% off when you book at least 14 days in advance.
VIKING offers free flights on selected river, ocean or expedition voyages valued at up to $2,400 plus $500 shipboard credit with selected ocean and expedition bookings. It must be a new booking – the deal ends in March 2025.
CATHAY PACIFIC: Book two return flights from Sydney to Hong Kong in one booking and pay from $888 per return. Flights must be between 19 January – 21 November 2025.
CELEBRITY CRUISES The Boxing Day sale includes offers of up to 75% off the second guest and save up to $850 per room. I emphasise – up to!
TRAVEL TRADE ONLY: Explora Journeys is the luxury arm of MSC Cruises, and NO expense has been spared on their two (soon to be more) ships – both one year old. Interline Travel now has open eligibility on $A rates for airline staff, travel agents, hotel staff, their friends and families.
Remember, conditions always apply to these specials. Check airline prices from your capital city. I recommend you use a travel agent – and travel insurance is essential. Finally, I make mistakes, just like all of us. Check websites to confirm details.
