LEONARDO HOTELS - logoPoland has significantly benefited from its entry into the E.U. in 2004 and is starting to get the attention it deserves. At the same time, all the development around Poland’s cities and towns has not come at a cost to its rich heritage and essential architecture. It remains, and in fact, is repaired, restored, and preserved for generations to come.

Our recent visit to Warsaw was an eye-opener, made all the better by our stay at Leonardo Royal Hotel Warsaw.

Whatever brings you to the Polish capital, business or leisure, you’ll unlikely find a better location than the luxurious Leonardo Royal Hotel Warsaw. Built on the upper floors of one of the tallest buildings in the city, the hotel commands stunning panoramic views over the centre of downtown Warsaw. Once you are back at ground level, you’ll find the nearby Rondo ONZ metro station and unmissable sights, such as the Warsaw Uprising Museum, the Palace of Culture and Science, and many more, within easy walking distance.

Leonardo Royal Hotel Warsaw is located in the centre of Warsaw, only 500 metres from the Warsaw Uprising Museum, 1.6 km from the Central Railway Station, and only a few minutes from Chopin Airport. It offers elegant rooms and suites with free Wi-Fi and breakfast with a city view. Each air-conditioned room includes a private bathroom with a bath or shower, a flat-screen TV and a mini-fridge. Extras include a desk, and some units offer a kitchenette.

The hotel includes a restaurant serving international cuisine and a breakfast buffet, one of the best I have enjoyed on my travels. There is also a bar. Leonardo Royal Hotel has a 24-hour front desk service, which I found extremely helpful with information and calling our taxi to the airport. There are also 6 conference rooms, available at a surcharge. There is a bicycle rental spot right outside the building. On request, paid private parking is available nearby.

Business guests will also be exactly where they want to be, in the heart of the city’s financial district, close to the central train station and a short journey from the airport. In addition, the Leonardo Royal Hotel Warsaw has six large conference rooms, which can be combined to hold up to 380 guests.

The best of Warsaw is on your doorstep, but you don’t need to leave the hotel to eat and drink well. The Vitruv restaurant serves a breakfast buffet and à la carte dinner daily, and a fantastic lobby bar that is open until late offers another great spot to take in the views during your stay.

Choose from a selection of comfortable rooms and spacious suites with free unlimited Wi-Fi, large flat-screen TVs, espresso machines, and en-suite bathrooms, among other home-from-home amenities.

Begin your day with a trip to the breakfast buffet and head back to the hotel in the evening to visit the Clash Bar and Restaurant for a great menu of international dishes. The Clash Bar transforms into a club and live DJ venue in the evenings. We enjoyed some of Warsaw’s latest markets, such as Rynek Mariensztacki, Nocny Maruetrs, and Hala Marowska. For food, Food Hall Browary, Browar Warszawski Restauracja Grill, Browar & Bar, Barbakan Restauracja, And so many more. Don’t forget to try Polish food. You won’t regret it.
