Autumn might be waiting around the corner, but summer never ends at Sydney’s coolest outdoor cinema, MOV’IN BED. This month is crammed with award-winning and nominated films, a special Oscar Best Picture screening, and the exclusive FREE VIP premiere of new Apple TV+ series PALM ROYALE.

In an exciting debut collaboration between Mov’in Bed and Apple TV+, on Tuesday 19th March Mov’in Bed’s Barangaroo Beach will transform into Palm Beach, Florida, for a first look at Palm Royale, the high society comedy series with an all-star cast, led by Kristen Wiig, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb, Amber Chardae Robinso and Kaia Gerber with Laura Dern and Allison Janney, plus special guest stars Carol Burnett and Bruce Dern.

The story is set In 1969, when an ambitious woman sets her sights on a seat at the most exclusive, fashionable, and dangerous table in America, as she strives to break into the high society of Palm Beach.

It’s a first for Mov’in Bed to screen episodes of a TV series. Palm Royale drops on the Apple TV+ streaming platform on Wednesday 20th March, the day after invited VIP guests and lucky ticket holders see the first two episodes on Mov’in Bed’s giant 4k outdoor screen.

Before then, Mov’in Bed is the best destination to catch up with Oscar-nominated films. This week’s screenings featuring The Holdovers, Past Lives, Anatomy of a Fall, Killers of the Flower Moon and The Boy and the Heron. Then next Monday 11th March, within hours of the coveted Best Picture Academy Award being presented, Mov’in Bed will screen the winning film at a glam red carpet special event. Continuing through until 14th April, Mov’in Bed, Sydney’s coolest outdoor cinema on Barangaroo’s city beach, will screen hot new titles including Dune Part Two, Madame Web, Argylle, Bob Marley: One Love, The Color Purple and more.

Classics have proven popular as well, and the last weeks of this Mov’in Bed season also includes titles such as Dirty Dancing and 10 Things I Hate About You.

Mov’in Bed keeps Sydney audiences entertained through Easter, and as the nights cool off, the blankets on the cloud beds are welcoming, the pizzas are sizzling and the popcorn continues to flow into bottomless cups, frozen cocktails and sparkling wine are poured, and the stars sparkle above the city skyline.
