Melco Resorts & Entertainment and the Cultural Affairs Bureau (ICM) are co-organizing the festive event titled “Celebrating the Year of the Dragon at Mount Fortress” at the city’s historical landmark between February 7-25. The event forms part of the organizations’ efforts to revitalize Macau’s historical areas, with the aim to attract tourists and locals alike to the renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of their Lunar New Year experience in the city.
Bringing celebratory excitement and joy to visitors, the event will see Mount Fortress lit up with dragon-themed installations, inflatables and projection displays while offering festive performances, game booths and a selection of food stalls offering sweet and savory snacks and foods presented by local Macau SME outlets.
Melco continues to be committed to promoting economic diversification in Macau, promoting its vibrancy and status as a tourism-friendly city through exciting and diversified entertainment options. “Celebrating the Year of the Dragon at Mount Fortress” follows on from earlier collaborations between Melco and IC to revitalize the area, including themed events hosted for Mid-Autumn, the 70th Macau Grand Prix and the Christmas and New Year.
