Hollywood awards season has begun and the stars will shine on screen and in the sky above audiences at Sydney’s Mov’in Bed Cinema, opening this Friday night, 12th January 2024.
Golden Globe-winning films BARBIE, THE BOY AND THE HERON and KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON are in the first round of screenings already announced. Other major winning movies including OPPENHEIMER and THE HOLDOVERS will feature on dates to be revealed.
The Mov’in Bed season has been selling fast since ticket sales opened, from opening night film WONKA to this weekend’s action films THE HUNGER GAMES: THE BALLAD OF SONGBIRDS & SNAKES and THE MARVELS, next week’s epic drama NAPOLEON and many new releases and classic favourites. Romantic comedies, teen flicks, animation and adventure epics are all part of the diverse and star-studded Mov’in Bed lineup.
Sydney-siders are excited to grab their spots on the specially created beach in the city at Barangaroo’s Harbour Park, in queen-size cloud-like beds, with personal butlers serving food and drink, even just delicious popcorn, while watching the giant 15-meter 4K screen and immersing in the soundtrack with individual noise cancelling headphones. There is no other outdoor cinema quite like Mov’in Bed!
