Heralding the strong Asian influences of the East on New Zealand’s food scene, Lola Rouge is celebrating Chinese New Year’s Year of the Dragon with a delectable Lunar New Year menu inspired by the themes that this celebration brings.  Red is the colour of the Lunar New Year, representing good luck, happiness, wealth and fortune, while the Dragon symbolises ambition, energy, charisma, passion and enthusiasm.

Diners at Lola Rouge during Chinese New Year will be gifted their own Lucky Red Envelope, or Hong Bao, enclosing their own potential fortune varying from a free cocktail to a complimentary night’s stay at Naumi Wellington, ensuring that diners are starting the Chinese New Year with luck on their side.
