Returning to Mt Buller on the 18th to 20th of February, the annual Mind Body Bike weekend invites women to come together to reconnect, re-engage and recharge. The diverse program offers a smorgasbord of activities including bike clinics, yoga, resilience and well-being, CPR, creative workshops in everything from plein-air painting, to pottery and Moroccan cookery.
Event founder, Narelle Rademaker created Mind Body Bike following the sudden death of her father in law in 2015. Her vision was to connect women from different backgrounds and interests and create a welcoming space for self-care, the chance to explore something new and take time to recharge.  The initial concept has grown to now include a youth program, with a teen series also on the cards.
Individual workshops start from $25 per person, with day visitor and onsite accommodation options available to cater for different timeframes and budgets.
“Every year we welcome women from across the region, Melbourne and southern NSW. Many of whom travel on their own. By offering a variety of bike packages and individual workshops, our aim is to cater for many backgrounds and interests. We also want to provide participants with the opportunity to try new activities that they otherwise may not have access to.
“The greatest compliment is having people attend annually, making it a permanent fixture on their calendars. Learning new skills, immersing in nature, having a mental break and some quality downtime. It is an incredibly uplifting and fulfilling event to be a part of.
“We don’t always prioritise ourselves within our busy home environment. MBB is an opportunity to escape, switch off and be looked after.
