Regent Phu Quoc has been awarded One MICHELIN Key in the 2026 MICHELIN Key Hotels selection, affirming its position among Vietnam’s most exceptional hotel experiences.

The newly announced accolade marks the second consecutive year Regent Phu Quoc has achieved this, following months of meticulous evaluation by MICHELIN inspectors.

The MICHELIN Key recognises hotels offering outstanding stays through excellence in architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service, individuality and character, value for the experience, and a meaningful connection to their destination.

The award adds to an exceptional year of international recognition for Regent Phu Quoc, which was named the No. 1 Resort in Southeast Asia and No. 58 among the World’s 100 Best Hotels in the Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards 2026.

Set along the white sands of Long Beach on Phu Quoc’s west coast, Regent Phu Quoc offers an intimate expression of modern luxury through spacious suites and villas, highly personalised service, and experiences shaped by the culture, produce and natural beauty of the island.

The latest recognition arrives as the resort prepares for an exceptional calendar of culinary, cultural and restorative experiences, giving Australian travellers new reasons to visit in the coming months.

The Regent Culinary Residency Series: From Wilderness to Wonder

The Wild Table at The Herb Garden – 6 and 8 October | Oku – 7 and 9 October 2026

This October, The Regent Culinary Residency Series welcomes back Chef Mirko Gatti of [àbitat], Italy, recipient of a MICHELIN Guide Green Star 2025, for four exclusive evenings celebrating provenance, seasonality and respect for the natural world.

More than a restaurant, [àbitat] is a gastronomic project exploring the relationship between people, place and nature through research, storytelling and sustainable practices.

Having worked in acclaimed kitchens across London, Copenhagen and Milan, Chef Mirko has developed a culinary philosophy shaped by wild foraging, fermentation and environmental stewardship. At Regent Phu Quoc, he will turn his attention to the island’s terroir and biodiversity, transforming locally inspired ingredients into a dining journey shaped by place.

From Wilderness to Wonder unfolds across two settings. The Wild Table at The Herb Garden, on 6 and 8 October, places nature at the centre of the experience. On 7 and 9 October, Chef Mirko will join the culinary team at Oku for an exclusive four-hands dinner.

The Wild Table at The Herb Garden is priced from AUD$227 per guest, while the four-hands dinner at Oku is priced from AUD$243 per guest.*

Taste Studio returns for 2026

The November event follows previous editions that have brought together acclaimed culinary talent and creative collaborators in an immersive interpretation of Regent’s approach to modern luxury dining.

Beyond the table

The experiences continue beyond the resort’s restaurants. Aboard Regent Phu Quoc’s luxury catamaran, Serenity, daytime Coastline Cruises combine Champagne with opportunities to swim, kayak and snorkel, while sunset cruises cross the Gulf of Thailand beneath the fading light.

For families and multi-generational groups, Regent Phu Quoc’s expansive seven-bedroom Beach Pool Villa features six private pools, two kitchens and uninterrupted ocean views. Regent Kids complements family stays with dedicated spaces and experiences for younger guests.

The resort also offers an elegant island setting for destination weddings, from intimate beachside ceremonies at sunset to larger celebrations in its 308-guest ballroom.

An Island Renewed

As the season moves into November, Taste Studio provides another compelling reason to visit, bringing Regent Phu Quoc’s signature celebration of culinary artistry, culture and creativity back to the island.
