From the debut of MSC World Asia to a new collection of longer, combined itineraries, MSC Cruises is expanding its European program heading into 2027.

1. Be Among the First to Sail MSC Cruises’ New Flagship, MSC World Asia
MSC Cruises’ newest flagship, MSC World Asia, is set to begin her inaugural season with a seven-night round-trip itinerary from Barcelona from 4 December 2026, calling at Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia for Rome, Messina and Valletta.
Design elements inspired by Asia’s culture, art and landscapes combine with guest favourites across dining, entertainment and relaxation. Highlights include more than 40 bars, lounges and restaurants, the longest dry slide at sea at 81.3 metres, and Cliffhanger, the line’s over-water swing ride towering 50 metres above the sea within The Harbour, an Asian-inspired outdoor adventure zone on the top deck.
2. Explore the Mediterranean’s Iconic Cities at a Slower Pace
Eight ships will sail the Mediterranean across the 2026/27 season including MSC World Asia, MSC Euribia, MSC Magnifica, MSC Sinfonia, MSC Lirica and MSC Orchestra, calling at ports across Spain, France, Italy, Malta, Tunisia, Greece and Turkey, including Barcelona, Civitavecchia for Rome, Istanbul, Valletta and Piraeus for Athens.
Longer options include 10 to 12-night sailings on MSC Lirica to Cyprus, Egypt, Croatia and Greece, and on MSC Magnifica to Morocco and Spain.
3. Experience Northern Europe’s Festive Cities
MSC Preziosa will operate seven-night sailings to Northern Europe, calling at Hamburg, Rotterdam for Amsterdam, Cherbourg, Zeebrugge for Bruges and Brussels, Le Havre for Paris and Southampton for London.
Guests can explore the landmarks of London and Paris, Amsterdam’s canals, Bruges’ medieval streets, and the Christmas markets of Brussels and Hamburg.
4. Sail through the school holidays in Europe
Families can take advantage of the December and January school holidays to explore the Mediterranean’s off-peak season, when eight MSC Cruises ships remain in region including MSC World Asia, MSC Euribia and MSC Magnifica to name a few.
5. Australians and New Zealanders to exclusively spend longer in Europe on the same MSC Cruises ship
MSC Cruises has opened a 14-night round-trip sailing from Southampton (London) exclusively to Australian and New Zealand guests, aboard MSC Meraviglia. The itinerary links the Atlantic coast of France, Spain and Portugal with Norway’s fjords and the waterfront cities of Scandinavia.
Fourteen nights on one ship means one unpack, one booking and no hotel changes between countries. Four departures are on sale for 2027: 29 May, 12 June, 10 July and 4 September.
That scale of the itinerary opens an enormous range of potential combinations from the Western and Eastern Mediterranean to the Adriatic, Greek Islands, Canary Islands, Atlantic coast, Baltic and Norwegian fjords. More combinations will be announced for Australian and New Zealand guests in the near future.
