Destination NSW showcased Western Sydney International Airport and gateway locations to key stakeholders last week, ahead of passenger services taking off from 25 October 2026.

With the airport on the runway to serve up to 10 million passengers annually, it’s an exciting time for local tourism, businesses and jobs.

Three famils were hosted from 2–5 September, aimed at increasing product knowledge in regions including the Southern Highlands, Western Sydney and Blue Mountains.

The famils were also designed to drive inclusion of regional products in marketing campaigns; facilitate conversations between partners and accommodation and experience operators; generate high-quality content for owned and partner channels; and strengthen strategic relationships with key airline and distribution partners.
