The China International MICE Exchange (CIMX) will take place from November 3–5, 2026, at the China National Convention Center (CNCC II) in Beijing. CIMX 2026 has entered into a strategic partnership with China Advertising Association Event Marketing Committee connecting China’s event marketing community with destinations, suppliers, and peers from China and global markets.
The collaboration will bring the China Advertising Association Event Marketing Committee’s professional network, expertise in event marketing, and perspectives on brand experience and corporate event management to CIMX’s international marketplace and conference program, encouraging engagement from brand owners, event agencies and other professionals involved in the creation and delivery of business events.
Connecting Event Creators with the Global MICE Supply Chain at CIMX
As organizations place greater emphasis on audience engagement, brand experience and measurable outcomes, event design, marketing and execution are becoming increasingly important drivers of business impact.
As a professional committee under the China Advertising Association, the China Advertising Association Event Marketing Committee supports professional exchange and development across event marketing and brand activation. CIMX provides an international B2B platform where destinations, venues, hotels, destination management companies, technology providers and other MICE suppliers can meet agencies, corporate clients, and event decision-makers from China and abroad.
The partnership will enable professionals from these related fields to exchange perspectives, explore different approaches and identify new business opportunities across the global MICE landscape.
Xin’er Xu, Deputy Director of the China Advertising Association Event Marketing Committee, said: “As more Chinese brands pursue international growth, event marketing is becoming an increasingly important vehicle for entering overseas markets, building brand awareness and deepening audience engagement. At the same time, China is emerging as an increasingly important destination for international companies hosting meetings, incentive program and other business events. Against this backdrop, we are delighted to partner with CIMX to bring the expertise and practices of the event marketing sector into a broader international MICE dialogue. We also look forward to leveraging this partnership to create greater opportunities for international exchange and cross-border collaboration for China’s event marketing industry.”
The China Advertising Association Event Marketing Committee will contribute to the CIMX 2026 Conference with a keynote presentation on the evolution of event marketing over the next three to five years as well as a panel discussion on cross-border brand activation, the transformation of event marketing productivity driven by AI, experiential event design strategies and integrated global campaigns.
In addition, the China Advertising Association Event Marketing Committee will host its member event, “Event Talks”, at CIMX. While the program is normally accessible to members only, one session will be opened to the wider CIMX audience as part of the CIMX Conference, providing non-members with access to the Committee’s industry perspectives and professional exchange.
Connecting Professional Networks and Business Opportunities
As a strategic partner of CIMX, the China Advertising Association Event Marketing Committee will leverage its professional network to encourage qualified event marketing professionals to participate in the CIMX Hosted Buyer Program, providing its members with the opportunity to engage in structured meetings with MICE destinations and service providers from China and beyond.
Nikolaos Swoch, Director of CIMX, said:“Our partnership with the China Advertising Association Event Marketing Committee brings brand activation, event design, and destination delivery into closer dialogue, creating new opportunities to transform cross-border ambitions into event experiences with greater business impact.”
Together, both partners will strengthen professional exchange, expand international connections and create new opportunities across China’s event marketing and MICE industry.
