More than thirty years after a cowboy and a space ranger put aside their differences and became the best of friends, Woody, Buzz Lightyear and more beloved characters from Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story continue to captivate audiences across generations. This September, SKAI invites guests to rediscover these timeless stories through a high tea inspired by Toy Story. Set against panoramic views from the 70th floor of Swissôtel The Stamford, the limited-time experience brings together refined sweet and savoury creations inspired by the film’s beloved characters including Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Lotso, the Aliens and more, celebrating friendship, adventure and the power of imagination.
Available from 1 September to 30 November 2026 , this limited-time experience has been created by Director of Culinary, Nicholas Issel and Executive Pastry Chef Yong Ming Choong. The menu combines premium, natural ingredients with SKAI’s signature culinary artistry to create a nostalgic experience for guests of all ages.
A High Tea Inspired by the Adventures of Toy Story
The journey begins with Space Ranger, inspired by Buzz Lightyear, where a berry velvet sponge is layered with mixed berry compote and cream cheese frosting. Beside it sits Cowboy Chocolate inspired by Woody, a rich combination of Caraïbe 66% chocolate and crisp hazelnut feuilletine, complete with a cowboy hat topper and sheriff-inspired detailing.
The adventure continues with Lots O’ Berry, pairing pandan sponge with strawberry compote and Chantilly cream, finished with raspberry chocolate in tribute to Lotso, the strawberry-scented teddy bear. One of the menu’s most technically intricate creations, The Claw’s Choice, captures the Aliens through a delicate matcha choux filled with house-made orange marmalade, showcasing the pastry team’s thoughtful craftsmanship and commitment to natural ingredients.
Completing the sweet selection are Golden Gallop, inspired by Jessie and Bullseye, combining refreshing Alfonso mango sorbet with fresh blueberries and a buttery crumble. Warm raisin scones served with Devonshire cream and preserves are served alongside.
Chef Nicholas approaches the savoury selection with the same balance of creativity and precision, with creative and refined bites that showcase premium ingredients throughout.

Served high above Singapore’s skyline, the experience invites guests to gather family and friends, relive childhood memories and celebrate the stories that continue to inspire friendship in audiences around the world.

William J. Haandrikman, Managing Director at Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford, shares, “I remember watching the first Toy Story when it was released, and it is remarkable to see the story continue to capture the imagination of new generations. The wonderful response to our Winnie the Pooh-themed collaboration showed us how much guests love it when exceptional dining meets a story they grew up with. Introducing a Toy Story-themed high tea was a natural next chapter, and with the release of Toy Story 5 this year, it felt like the perfect time to bring this experience to life. SKAI’s team has created an experience that celebrates friendship and imagination, giving families a reason to gather, share a meal and take in the view from 70 floors above the city.”
The Toy Story-inspired High Tea at SKAI is available daily from 1 to 30 September 2026, from 12.15pm to 5.30pm. From Monday to Sunday, it is priced at S$78++ per adult.
