Anantara Hoi An Resort has unveiled its most significant transformation since opening in 2013, introducing a new collection of riverfront suites, a reimagined pool experience and a vibrant new dining destination overlooking the Thu Bon River.
The enhancement programme strengthens the resort’s connection to its riverside setting while elevating every stage of the guest journey, from accommodation and wellness to dining and relaxation.
The transformation includes the launch of eight new Thu Bon River Suites, the complete renovation of ten Premium River Suites, and the conversion of the resort’s signature suite into the new Anantara Two-Bedroom River Suite, creating elevated accommodation options for couples, families and groups seeking an immersive stay in the heart of Hoi An.
Designed to celebrate the town’s unique cultural heritage, all 19 suites have been refreshed with elegant interiors that blend French colonial character with Asian influences. Spacious split-level layouts, private terraces or balconies and uninterrupted river views create a seamless connection between indoor comfort and the riverside setting beyond.
Guests staying in the newly enhanced suites enjoy a more personalised experience, with dedicated room host service, in-suite check-in and check-out, one complimentary 60-minute spa treatment per person per stay, and exclusive access to the private steam room at Anantara Spa.
Additional suite benefits include direct access to the host team, luxury beach bags, bath salts, premium teas, a welcome bottle of wine, and private wine fridge rental for guests staying in the Two-Bedroom River Suite and Garden Suite categories.
Completing the resort-wide transformation is a striking redesign of the pool area. Reimagined as a lush tropical sanctuary on the banks of the Thu Bon River, the enhanced space combines elegant cabanas, oversized loungers and thoughtfully landscaped gardens with uninterrupted river views.
Designed for everything from tranquil morning swims to leisurely afternoons in the sun and sunset cocktails by the water, the new pool experience introduces a fresh sense of resort-style luxury to the heart of Hoi An, creating one of the town’s most inviting settings for relaxation and socialising.
The resort’s dining venue, Art Space Restaurant & Bar, has undergone an extensive redesign, centred on a vibrant new tropical-inspired terrace concept. The reimagined venue introduces a menu of signature cocktails and tapas-style dishes in an atmosphere that transitions effortlessly from relaxed afternoons to lively evenings. A stylish sit-up bar encourages social gatherings throughout the day, while a dedicated performance stage now hosts regular live music events. Creative dishes and freshly made pizzas from the wood-fired oven are on offer in this art gallery-inspired bar and restaurant. Featuring original artwork in a variety of media created by local and international Vietnam-based artists, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a bite to eat whether in air-conditioned comfort, or outside on the terrace.
Beyond the new suites, pool area and dining concepts, the resort continues to offer its collection of Deluxe Balcony Rooms and Deluxe Garden Suites, alongside additional dining venues, Anantara Spa and four meeting spaces.
“This is the most exciting evolution of the resort since opening more than a decade ago,” said Ross Sanders Area General Manager for Vietnam. “From the introduction of our new Thu Bon River Suites and the transformation of our pool area to the complete reimagining of Art Space Restaurant & Bar, every enhancement has been designed to celebrate Hoi An’s rich heritage and deep connection to the Thu Bon River. We are creating even more opportunities for guests to relax, connect and experience the destination in a truly meaningful way.”
