Carnival Corporation (NYSE: CCL), the world’s largest cruise company, was named to the inaugural TIME’s America’s Best Companies 2026 list, recognizing the company for excellence in employee satisfaction, sustained financial performance and sustainability achievements.

Presented by TIME and Statista, a leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider, America’s Best Companies were determined through an analysis of companies across the U.S. generating $100 million or more in revenue. Companies were evaluated based on a multi-stage screening, including survey responses from 217,000 employees rating their own employers and employers from their industry, financial data such as revenue and net income growth, and corporate responsibility criteria for environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance. The top 1,000 companies with the highest combined scores across the three areas were selected for the list.

“Being named to TIME’s list is an honor that belongs to our team of 160,000 talented professionals who deliver results, take care of each other and do business the right way every single day,” said Josh Weinstein, CEO of Carnival Corporation. “Recognition like this doesn’t come from a single quarter, a single initiative or a single leader. It comes from the collective efforts of our global team, ship and shore, committed to living our values and fulfilling our purpose and mission of delivering unforgettable happiness to over 13.5 million people by providing extraordinary cruise vacations while honoring the integrity of every ocean we sail, place we visit and life we touch. That’s why our results look the way they do and why the best of what we can do together is still ahead.”

Carnival Corporation’s position on the America’s Best Companies list is driven by consistent performance across its business, sustainability and workforce priorities. The company’s second-quarter earnings continued its three-year streak of record-breaking performance, including a 12th consecutive quarter of record yields. On the sustainability front, the company cut its greenhouse gas intensity by 21% compared to its 2019 benchmark and slashed food waste by 42% as part of its Less Left Over strategy. In addition, Carnival Corporation boasts an employee retention rate of over 80% (vs. a hospitality industry average of 30%), contributing to its reputation as an employer of choice.

This latest recognition from TIME builds on a series of accolades highlighting Carnival Corporation’s leadership across business performance, sustainability and social impact. Among them, the company earned a place on Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies 2026 list, underscoring its standing as one of the world’s most respected corporations. The company was also honored by the ESG Shipping Awards with the Community Contribution Leader Award, recognizing Celebration Key’s enduring economic impact and meaningful contribution for Bahamians.
