Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains will be celebrating Christmas in July, with the resort transforming into a breathtaking winter wonderland as it hosts four Yulefest Buffet Celebrations on each of the four Saturdays throughout the month.
The dinners are open to in-house guests and visitors, who will enjoy the festive decorations, sparkling lights, live entertainment, decadent Christmas-themed feast, and a special visit from Santa.
While not guaranteed, diners may also experience a ‘white Christmas’, with July the most likely time for snowfall in the Blue Mountains. In July 1965, a significant fall saw up to 40cm settle, and 90cm was recorded in July 1900. The most recent heavy snowfall occurred in July 2015.
The Yulefest Buffet Celebrations will be held on Saturdays 4, 11, 18 and 25 July from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.
The lavish buffet will include all the Christmas favourites, including roast turkey, honey-glazed ham, prawns, oysters, beef, lamb, salmon, a variety of salads and, of course, indulgent desserts including Christmas Pudding and Yule Log.
Complementing the food, guests will enjoy a three-hour beverage package including a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
The Yulefest feast is ideal for all the family, from grandparents to little ones, who will enjoy having a ‘bonus’ visit from Santa in the same year!
