Park City Chamber and Visitors Bureau (PCCVB) has wrapped its 2026 Australian sales mission, training and engaging over 180 travel sellers and key wholesalers and media across Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
Delivered across three weeks during Snow Month and alongside the Snow Travel Expos in Melbourne and Sydney, the multi-city mission showcased the breadth of Park City’s year-round appeal. It connected PCCVB, Ski Utah, Utah Office of Tourism, Park City Mountain and Deer Valley Resort with Australian trade partners and leading travel and lifestyle media. Meetings with trade partners included Flight Centre Travel Group, Mogul Ski World, Sno’n’Ski, Skimax Holidays and Travelplan Ski.
Trade and media were briefed on a pipeline of new product in ‘Winters Favorite Town’ including the near completion of Deer Valley’s Expanded ExcellenceTM initiative, new gondola infrastructure at Park City Mountain and the destination’s upcoming inclusion in the Southwest Michelin Guide, developments that strengthen Park City’s premium positioning in the Australian market.
Located just 35 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport and anchored by its MountainkindTM ethos, Park City is one of North America’s most conveniently located and welcoming mountain destinations.
Megan Underwood, International Sales Manager, PCCVB, said the 2026 mission had delivered strong engagement across all three cities.
“Australia is one of our most naturally aligned international markets, outdoor-loving, adventurous and increasingly savvy about mountain travel. With Salt Lake City hosting the 2034 Winter Olympics, we’re at the start of a really exciting chapter for the region and we want Australian travel trade to feel confident and equipped to grow alongside us.”
