Emporium Hotel South Bank will transform into an Emporium Alpine Escape from 17 June 2026, inviting guests and visitors to get cosy and embrace mountain chalet chic from base to summit for a cool après-ski experience with themed dining, drinks, décor and more.
Experience an Emporium-style winter throughout the 5-star boutique property’s public spaces and guestrooms, infusing upscale alpine ambience with wintry pop-up photo opportunities, comforting food, inspired warm or icy creative cocktails and Mumm Champagne specials.
Be enveloped within a North American mountain resort setting from the moment you step inside Emporium Hotel South Bank with a snow-covered ski gondola and wayfinding signage of famous winter resorts in the lobby for seasonal selfies.
Embrace the post-slopes lifestyle on the alfresco rooftop as The Terrace is reimagined as The Terrace Summit Bar with a cable car chairlift for the perfect selfie or group shot, a life-size perspex bear, candy-striped deck chairs and Mumm Champagne red skis.
The Terrace Summit Bar will introduce a spritz menu alongside the Emporium Hotel’s seasonal take on Canada’s iconic Bloody Mary-style Caesar cocktail with Clamato and Asian-inspired poutines in three variations: Peking duck, spicy crab and prawn, and kimchi tofu.

Hosted in The Reserve Wine Bar, The Reserve Lodge welcomes guests into a cosy chalet interior, complete with pine trees, timber accents, the crowd-favourite 2.4m-long perspex moose and faux fur throws draped across armchairs to keep the winter chill away.
Soak up peak mountain retreat vibes in The Reserve Lodge with wood-smoked cocktails and mulled wine, and feast on elevated winter staples, such as a warming chicken and potato gratin pie, spiced wild boar kofta and gooey baked brie with cranberries and walnuts.
Winter revellers can also toast to $85 Mumm Cordon Rouge Champagne bottles and $25 glasses, available hotel-wide in June and exclusive to The Terrace from July 2026.
