Hundreds  of rugby league fans are expected to descend on the NSW South Coast again this November, with the South Sydney Rabbitohs confirming the return of their annual Takeover Weekend at BIG4 Ingenia Holidays Lake Conjola, cementing its place as one of the most in-demand fan experiences on the NRL calendar.

After a sell-out event last year, the Takeover Weekend became a standout on the fan calendar, with Rabbitohs players including Latrell Mitchell and Bud Sullivan leading junior clinics, while Cody Walker showed his skills on the basketball court, giving supporters rare, up-close access across the weekend.

This spring, families and rugby league enthusiasts can expect another action-packed weekend. It all kicks off on Friday 27 November with a welcome BBQ offering an opportunity for fans to interact with players, ask them questions and snap a selfie together. On Saturday 28 November, the next generation are invited to take to the field with key players in a series of junior rugby league clinics, where they’ll learn how to pass like a pro and run like a Rabbitoh!

Rabbitohs fan-favourite Jack Wighton and his family are already counting down the days until they are back at Big4 Ingenia Holidays Lake Conjola with the club supporters.

“Lake Conjola was an absolute highlight for my family last year — the kids loved it and it’s such a special place to unwind with the fans away from the footy field. Ingenia Holiday Parks always make you feel right at home, and I can’t wait to get back there this year with the South Sydney faithful.”

Rabbitohs Takeover Weekend returns to BIG4 Ingenia Holidays Lake Conjola after sell-out success

Off the field, fans can tee-off with the players in a hole-in-one contest aiming for a floating pontoon in the middle of Lake Conjola, directly from the BIG4 Ingenia Holidays park! Or, guests can  try something new with the handball competition and celebrate the season (win or lose) with a legendary pool party.

“We can’t wait to welcome the Rabbitohs back to BIG4 Ingenia Holidays Lake Conjola this November. It’s a weekend we all look forward to – the park team,  the guests, the fans, the players. Nothing beats seeing the kids’ faces when they meet their sporting heroes, and get out on the field with them!,” said BIG4 Ingenia Holidays Lake Conjola Park Manager, Timothy Salisbury.

Echoing this excitement Blake Solly, CEO of the South Sydney Rabbitohs said, “The boys are really looking forward  to being back at BIG4 Ingenia Holidays Lake Conjola in November, and can’t wait to spend quality time with our club supporters who’ve cheered us on all season. BIG4 Ingenia Holidays Lake Conjola holds a special place in the hearts of our club; Jack, Cody and Latrell have been coming here with their families for years.”
