Australian travel agents have been handed a rather handsome incentive from Cruise Traveller, the nation’s long-standing specialist in small-ship cruising and the exclusive local representative for Atlas Ocean Voyages. In a market where perks come and go like ocean tides, this one stands out for its generosity and its timing.

Cruise Traveller has rolled out an upgraded groups program designed to give agents a stronger hand when selling Atlas Ocean Voyages’ intimate, yacht-style journeys. And in true Atlas fashion, the sweeteners arrive with a flourish, not a trickle.

Under the refreshed offer, agents will earn a 15 per cent commission on group departures, a welcome nod to those who do the hard yards corralling group bookings. Even more enticing: two free berths for every 10 guests booked, an old-fashioned, straightforward reward that still gets hearts racing in the trade.

Clients joining these departures will also feel well looked after, receiving exclusive reduced fares, US$200 onboard credit per guest, a complimentary bottle of champagne per stateroom, and a hosted cocktail reception for groups of ten or more. In an era where value matters more than sparkle, Atlas has opted to offer both.

The promotion spans 12 sailings between February and September 2026, ranging from six nights to a more leisurely 14. The destinations, naturally, are the sort that make bucket-lists blush: Antarctica, the Arctic, and Europe, all delivered aboard Atlas Ocean Voyages’ sleek, 198-guest yachts. Fares begin at US$3299 per person, twin-share (around A$5064, subject to exchange variations), putting these voyages well within reach for clients craving something intimate yet adventurous.

As is customary with Atlas, fares include beverages and gratuities, and in Antarctica, Zodiac and land excursions are included, often turning browsers into bookers.

Cruise Traveller’s Managing Director, Craig Bowen, has long championed the value of small-ship exploration for Australian travellers, and this strengthened offer reflects that steady commitment. While no formal statement accompanied the promotion, the structure speaks for itself: meaningful incentives for agents, genuine value for clients, and a clear push to grow Atlas’s footprint in the Australian market.

For those keen to capitalise, bookings must be made by 30 November 2025. And given the rising interest in expedition cruising, a trend showing no sign of slowing, agents may find demand as brisk as a southern latitude breeze.

About the Writer
Christine Nguyen - Bio PicChristine’s journey is one of quiet courage and unmistakable grace. Arriving in Australia as a young refugee from Vietnam, she built a new life in Sydney brick by brick, armed with little more than hope, family, and a fierce curiosity about the wider world. She studied Tourism at TAFE and found her calling in inbound travel, working with one of Sydney’s leading Destination Management Companies—where she delighted in showing visitors the real Australia, the one beyond postcards and clichés.
Years later, when the call of the sea and a gentler pace of life grew stronger, Christine and her family made their own great escape. She turned her creative hand to designing travel brochures and writing blogs, discovering that storytelling was as natural to her as breathing. Today, she brings that same warmth and worldly insight to Global Travel Media, telling stories that remind us why we travel in the first place.
