Bangkok’s fine-dining scene will see an extraordinary convergence on 10 November 2025, when Chef Alex Dilling joins forces with Chef Wilfrid Hocquet of Margo for an exclusive four-hand dinner at Alex Dilling at Lord Jim’s, Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok.
The collaboration brings together two distinctive culinary voices: Chef Alex Dilling and Chef Wilfrid Hocquet.
Chef Alex Dilling, celebrated for his precision-driven modern European cuisine at his two-Michelin-starred restaurant in London, brings meticulous craftsmanship and understated artistry to the riverside dining room of Lord Jim’s. Under his helm, the restaurant has been reimagined for dinner service as a refined stage for contemporary European gastronomy.
Joining him is French Chef Wilfrid Hocquet, a protégé of Alain Ducasse and the visionary behind Margo, where classical French technique is infused with modern flair. Hocquet’s ingredient-led approach and confident expression of flavour have earned Margo a reputation as one of the city’s most compelling dining destinations within months of opening.
Together, the chefs will present a seven-course experience featuring canapés and three signature dishes each, culminating in a collaborative dessert that encapsulates their shared pursuit of excellence.
The dinner is priced at THB 6,500++ per person, with the final menu to be announced shortly. Seating is limited to what promises to be one of Bangkok’s most anticipated culinary events of the year.
