The travel world loves a comeback story—and in 2025, Australasia is delivering it in spades. World Travel Market London will play host to the largest Australia and New Zealand delegation seen in years, with the Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) leading a dynamic contingent determined to remind the world exactly why the Antipodes remain top of every traveller’s bucket list.
From Tuesday, November 4, to Thursday, November 6, 2025, London’s ExCeL will become a southern-hemisphere embassy, with Stand N9-510 transformed into a one-stop shop for all things Aussie and Kiwi. More than 30 partners will be on hand, covering everything from five-star pampering to outback eco-adventures.
A bigger, bolder presence
This year’s ATEC stand isn’t just larger—it’s livelier. The mix reads like a travel brochure brought to life: Qantas, the grand dame of Australian skies, will rub shoulders with Singapore Airlines, the perennial awards darling. Accommodation runs the gamut from budget-friendly YHA Australia to the four-star-plus polish of Hotel Grand Chancellor in Australia and New Zealand.
And for travellers who measure luxury by scenery rather than thread count, there’s Kangaroo Island’s Oceanview Eco Villas, the Barossa’s vineyard-framed Shiraz Estate and The Villas, Finniss River Lodge in the Northern Territory’s floodplains, and Rawnsley Park Station in the ancient Flinders Ranges.
Rolling out the red carpet—on land and in the air
For visitors who believe the journey should be as indulgent as the destination, Marquee Limousines and InStyle Chauffeured Limousines will be on hand to provide details on their premium transport options. Then there’s Bill Peach Journeys, whose ‘Aircruising’ concept swaps endless highway miles for the smooth hum of private aircraft, touching down in some of Australia’s most jaw-dropping regions.
Adventure, wildlife, and a dash of adrenaline
Australasia’s reputation for wild beauty and wilder adventures will be front and centre. South Australia’s Earth Adventure and PureSA will showcase soft adventure experiences. At the same time, Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures, Kangaroo Island Touring Company, and Untamed Escapes will tempt visitors with wildlife encounters and multi-day expeditions.
Sydney, never shy about stealing the spotlight, will be represented by icons like the BridgeClimb, Sydney Harbour Boat Tours, and Taronga Zoo—each a love letter to the Harbour City’s spectacular scenery and lifestyle.
The experts behind the scenes
ATEC’s expert inbound tour operators and destination management companies (DMCs) will architect tailored itineraries across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and beyond. Among them are Australia and Worldwide Travel, Advance Olympic Travel, ANZCRO, Southern World, 39 Degrees South, Travel Time South Pacific, GMTC, ANZ Global Travel, Social Nature Movement, New Zealand Fine Touring/NZ Sidekick, The Green Spot, and Terra Nova Tours.
Their collective know-how is a goldmine for travel agents looking to craft journeys that are more than just a tick-box exercise.
Why now? The timing is perfect.
Chris Carter-Chapman, WTM London’s Event Director, is confident the expanded delegation will turn heads:
“We are delighted to be welcoming such a strong delegation from ATEC this year. Australia and New Zealand are among the world’s most well-loved and aspirational destinations, known for their unique and natural attractions, deep cultural heritage and experiential travel opportunities. I’m positive show visitors will relish the opportunity to speak to varied destination experts in one place to help them build personalised itineraries for every client.”
Peter Shelley, ATEC’s Managing Director, sees the timing as strategic:
“WTM London is the perfect place to nurture valuable connections in our core source markets. With the buzz around the 2025/6 Ashes series from this November, it’s also a key time to harness interest in travel Down Under. We hope to meet as many show visitors as possible to share the unique and exciting experiences our destinations have to offer.”
Australasia, united and on show
From cricket to crocodiles, fine dining to fine wines, beach escapes to bush adventures—Australasia is arriving in London with stories to tell and business to win. And if the early buzz is any indication, Stand N9-510 will be as busy as a Bondi café on a Sunday morning.
WTM London 2025 isn’t just another industry event—it’s Australasia’s grand reintroduction to the global stage, and the region intends to leave a lasting impression.
