Dom Epoque Hotel Roma, located in the iconic Via Giulia, announces the launch of its brand-new seasonal menu at their signature restaurant – Verve – with a refined culinary offering curated and creatively presented by Chef Adriano Magnoli and Pastry Chef Antonella Mascolo. Rooted in the Italian tradition of fire-cooked meals and reimagined with a modern touch, the reworked menu celebrates local ingredients, refined techniques, and the convivial essence of Roman dining. The menu also caters to diverse dietary preferences, with options available for vegetarian guests and those with specific allergens.

Created with creativity, seasonality, and the evocative charm of open-fire cooking, the new menu invites guests on a journey that incorporates rustic warmth with contemporary elegance, honouring tradition while introducing unexpected textures and flavours.

At the heart of Verve’s culinary distinction are Chef Adriano Magnoli and Pastry Chef Antonella Mascolo, whose combined experience spans over 15 years in Michelin-starred kitchens. Chef Magnoli brings an innovative touch perfected by his time in the lively dining scenes of Miami and London, while Chef Mascolo draws on her refined pastry expertise sharpened in renowned Roman establishments. Their deep-rooted passion for celebrating local ingredients and their passion for travel transform each dish into a thoughtful expression of place and memory. By exploring different cultures, they’ve reinterpreted tradition through a contemporary lens, presenting innovative Roman dishes inspired by the flavours, stories, and encounters gathered throughout their travels. Together, they present Verve’s menu with creativity and heart, reflecting inspirations drawn from their life and complemented by ceramic dishware from Tuscany and Rome’s Garbatella district, a tribute to their personal stories.

Traditional tasting menu

At Verve, the traditional tasting menu presents a thoughtfully curated dining experience designed to be enjoyed collectively. The Menu Includes:

  • Artichoke Roman style with vignarola
  • Cheese and pepper-stuffed gnocchi with chard and fermented lemon
  • Roasted pork with carbonara sauce
  • Maritozzo brioche with ice cream of the day

Fate Vobis & Famo Nobis – Choose Your Ideal Roman Dining Experience

Verve invites guests to choose between two special tasting menus designed to celebrate Roman-inspired cuisine: from four courses to six courses:

  • Fate Vobis is a four-course harmonious meal where diners select their preferred seasonal appetisers, first and second courses, and desserts, all prepared with refined technique, priced at €60 per person
  • For a deeper culinary journey, the Famo Nobis six-course tasting menu, expertly curated by the chefs and priced at €80 per person, they are to be ordered by the entire table, creating a shared and immersive dining experience.

Verve also offers an extensive à la carte menu for those who prefer greater flexibility. Diners are asked to order a minimum of two courses per person, allowing for a personalised yet balanced meal.

  • Beans with cuttlefish codes
  • Parmigiana aubergine strudel

Pasta:

  • Cheese and pepper stuffed potato gnocchi, with chard and fermented lemon
  • Crispy ravioli with smoked potato, mussels, ‘nduja salami and parsley

  • Catch of the day with tomato, oregano, olives, and capers
  • Lamb with melted cheese and country salad

Summer Evenings on the Rooftop Terrace

As temperatures rise, the hotel’s hidden gem, the rooftop terrace, becomes the heart of the summer experience. Since reopening at the end of May, the terrace welcomes guests for aperitifs and delicious dinners. It represents a romantic escape above the city, offering comprehensive views of Rome’s rooftops, bell towers, and the Gianicolo hillside. Furnished with luxury white iron chairs and taupe-toned sofas and surrounded by fragrant herbs, the rooftop evokes the elegance of La Dolce Vita.
