In a move that blends education with a generous dash of escapism and incentive, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has unveiled its latest trade initiative: a six-week whirlwind virtual adventure for travel advisors across Australia and New Zealand. The aptly named “Experience MORE of the World with NCL” launches on 14 July 2025 – and it comes with more than just bragging rights. Two lucky agents will win a cruise in 2026.
Yes, a proper, all-inclusive, ocean-breezed getaway for doing your job well and having fun. Not a bad deal in anyone’s logbook.
“We wanted to create something that was not only informative, but inspiring,” said Angela Middleton, Director of Sales for Australia and New Zealand. “This is about reigniting the passion for cruising and helping agents connect the dots between our itineraries and the unique destinations we visit. And of course, there’s a little friendly competition involved too!”
The six-week program is structured to reward knowledge as much as participation. Each Monday from 11:00 a.m. AEST, Middleton herself will host a breezy Facebook Live session, unveiling a new destination and dropping a weekly “keyword”—not unlike a secret password for passage to next week’s rewards.
Advisors then complete a short quiz – quick enough to tackle between client calls – to earn a virtual passport stamp. Think of it as a modern-day “Choose Your Own Adventure,” minus the dog-eared pages and with a decent shot at winning a cruise.
The format is a nod to the traditional familiarity of learning by doing – seasoned with a tech-savvy twist. Agents must complete each week’s activity in its designated window to qualify for the Grand Prize. Collect all six stamps, and your name will go into the captain’s hat for the draw. And let’s face it: even landlocked, a chance at a free cruise is enough to get anyone’s tide rising.
Middleton adds, “It’s all about learning, earning, and experiencing more. We’re giving advisors a tool that’s educational and motivating – and it doesn’t hurt that you can win a holiday too!”
Aside from the headline-grabbing cruises, NCL offers up to 1,200 Partners First Rewards points during the campaign by answering one bonus quiz question weekly using the revealed keyword. It’s the kind of incentive that rewards consistency, not just luck – much like building a solid client list in the first place.
