Traveling with Discover Airlines is becoming even more convenient: The leisure airline’s cooperation with the technology provider Airportr offers travelers a baggage pick-up and check-in service that makes the journey to Frankfurt Airport luggage-free. Discover Airlines is thus joining Lufthansa, which has been offering the service upgrade since the beginning of the year.
Airportr’s service ensures that baggage is collected at the requested time directly from your doorstep or any other location within the catchment area. Baggage is sealed, securely transported to the airport, and checked in. Travelers can go straight through airport security and pick up their bags at their arrival destination. In the meantime, they can follow real-time updates through a personalized live tracker and receive a digital baggage tag.
The new premium service can now be booked on the Discover Airlines website up to 36 hours prior to departure. It is available to customers from the greater Frankfurt, Mannheim, Heidelberg, Hanau, Aschaffenburg, Wiesbaden, Mainz, Darmstadt and Bensheim. Expansion of the catchment area is planned in the near future. The price for the service starts at 25 euros and varies according to location and pick-up time.
