More than 1,000 golf enthusiasts are expected to swing by the Queensland Golf and Travel Expo at the Brisbane Showgrounds this weekend.
The two-day event, held on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 March in the Royal International Convention Centre, will showcase the latest in golf equipment, accessories and apparel at exclusive show-only prices, while also offering interactive experiences such as golf simulators, a driving area and putting zone.
New this year are dedicated hitting bays featuring the latest clubs from mainstream brands, giving attendees the chance to try before they buy.
Visitors can also receive expert advice from seasoned professionals to enhance their game, with swing assessments and insightful talks catering to both beginners and experienced golfers.
The expo will also highlight a range of travel options for golf and leisure trips, from luxury golf resorts to exciting domestic and international travel destinations.
Brisbane Showgrounds General Manager of Venue Sales and Marketing Jago Coyle said they were excited to welcome the event back for a second year.
“We’re thrilled to once again host the Queensland Golf and Travel Expo, which brings together golf lovers of all levels under one roof,” he said.
“The event is held indoors in our world-class convention centre, so there’s no need to worry about the forecasted rain – it’s the perfect weekend outing for passionate golfers.”
The event will take place from 10am to 4pm daily, with tickets available online.
The Brisbane Showgrounds precinct is located 1.5km from Brisbane’s CBD and is Queensland’s largest indoor/outdoor events site. Visit www.brisbaneshowgrounds.com.au
