This January, Dorchester Collection’s Le Meurice in Paris will once again celebrate Dry January through carefully curated culinary collaborations.
A GASTRONOMIC PAIRING
For the past two years, Le Meurice and Benoît d’Onofrio — better known as Le Sobrelier — have been working together on food and sober-beverage pairings at Restaurant Le Meurice Alain Ducasse. United by a shared love for locally sourced French ingredients, a commitment to near-zero waste, and a gastronomic approach to alcohol-free beverages, the teams have formed a close partnership.
Together, they have curated a unique gastronomic experience in honour of Dry January. To begin the experience, guests will be welcomed with Courge de Là, a delicately sparkling non-alcoholic beverage made of Chasselas grape, butternut squash, passion tagetes and physalis. Produced by a process inspired by that of natural sparkling wines, this beverage is a first of its kind.
To elevate the experience further, Le Sobrelier has crafted three beverages inspired by the bold culinary work of Amaury Bouhours. The first, Let it Beet, is a 2025 vintage made from fermentation of Hamburg muscat grapes, purple shiso, crapaudine beetroot, pomegranate and southernwood. The second, named How Can You Mangue a Broken Heart is made from green mandarin, Provençal mango, cascara and fir shoot, while the third, Random Access Memoris, is made from white Camargue round rice, persimmon, chicory, and melilot seeds. Both are 2024 vintages, with flavours that have matured over the last year
Non-alcoholic beverage pairing at Restaurant Le Meurice Alain Ducasse starts from €80 per person.
A SPARKLING RESTAURANT LE DALÍ
At Restaurant Le Dalí, non-alcoholic sparkling wines by French brand French Bloom will be served throughout the month of January. These include Extra Brut, Rosé, and Vintage 2023 cuvées, chosen to delicately pair with seasonal dishes curated by chef Clémentine Bouchon.
Non-alcoholic three vintages beverage paring at Restaurant Le Dalí starts at €80 per person.
A .0 COCKTAIL AT BAR 228
At Bar 228, guests are invited to enjoy Millenium .0, a reimagined twist on the hotel’s Millenium cocktail, originally created for the bar’s reopening in 2000. Crafted with French Bloom Rosé, this is an elegant way to start the new year.
The Millenium .0 cocktail starts at €36.
