Melco Resorts & Entertainment’s culinary team colleagues excelled at the recent “2025 Macau International Chinese Cuisine Chef Competition”, scoring the top number of awards amongst 130 competing teams from more than 40 countries and regions worldwide. Organized by the United Association of Food and Beverage Merchants of Macao and hosted in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Macao Food Festival, the competition aims to be a culinary cultural exchange platform for bringing together master chefs from across the globe, showcasing how Chinese cuisine can become a bridge for connecting the world.

The Melco team demonstrated their dedication, exceptional culinary skills and talent, as well as ability to deliver unparalleled results under intense pressure, with the colleagues listed below achieving the top three results across the competition’s categories:

Awardees include two graduate colleagues of Melco’s “Culinary Foundation Acceleration Program (FAP)”, Macau’s first talent development program of its kind for the sector which aims to discover and nurture local culinary talent while reinforcing Macau’s position as a UNESCO designated “Creative City of Gastronomy”. First launched in 2021, the ongoing program is hosted with tremendous support from Labour Affairs Bureau and the Macao University of Tourism.
