Civitatis, the leading tours and activities platform for Spanish-speaking travelers, announced today the appointment of Arturo Moreno as Chief Supply & Data Officer.

Moreno, who has served as Chief Strategy & Data Officer for the past six years, will take over leadership of Supply—now elevated to an independent executive division—and will continue to lead the company-wide Data & AI transformation.

This organizational restructuring responds to Civitatis’ strategy of placing Supply at the core of its growth model. Arturo Moreno is a professional with six years of experience at Civitatis, bringing a deep understanding of the business from a strategy and data analysis perspective, essential to lead the evolution of the inventory.

Under Arturo’s leadership, the supply team will focus on a much more strategic and data-driven approach to reinforce curation and quality, while steering the evolution of the Marketplace towards a more competitive model that increases the variety of suppliers to ensure the best offer and availability for the customer at all times, focusing on the depth and exhaustiveness of the catalogue and its suitability for demand intensifying efforts in categories such as ticketing and private tours.

This new, independent position is focused on inventory management and optimizing the match between supply and demand. This function is essential for strengthening the company’s growth and leveraging current travel sector trends.

Continuity and Evolution in Leadership

Enrique Espinel, who maintains his role as COO, with a special emphasis on international expansion, after having led the supply team for 10 years, emphasizes the importance of the organizational evolution: “Arturo’s promotion and the creation of the independent Chief Supply Officer role are a reflection of our maturity and strategic vision. With Arturo at the helm, we strengthen our strategic capacity for activity selection, ensuring the most complete, accessible, and high-quality offer for Spanish-speaking travelers anywhere in the world.” Inma López continues in her essential role on the supply team, directing commercial operations and operator partnerships, crucial for maintaining our long-standing relationships with our 7,000 global operators.
