MyCISO has been named Start-Up of the Year at the 2025 Australian Information Security Association (AISA) Awards, recognised for transforming how organisations manage cyber security, increase resiliency and measure progress.
The Sydney-based company was founded to tackle one of cybersecurity’s biggest frustrations: the reliance on manual spreadsheets and fragmented tools to manage increasingly complex security programs. MyCISO’s Security Operating System (SecurityOS) integrates assessments, risk, compliance, maturity, effectiveness, supplier security, culture, and incident response into a single platform, giving leaders clarity and control.
“We envisions a world where every organisation can confidently manage its cyber risks, meet compliance requirements, and improve resilience, regardless of internal expertise or budget.” said Dane Meah, CEO and co-founder of MyCISO, who earlier this month was also named Leader of the Year at the 2025 Pemba Summit Awards for his contribution to leadership and innovation in the Australian technology sector. “Too many organisations still rely on point-in-time manual assessments, that can’t keep pace with how fast threats evolve. We built MyCISO to simplify the process and create real time visibility and reporting that that security leaders can rely on to make better decisions backed by data.”
The platform’s intelligence engine, PrecogAI, helps CISOs and their teams understand what matters most, where their exposure lies, and what steps will make the greatest difference. It provides a real-time view of risk and maturity aligned with business objectives, turning cybersecurity from a technical challenge into a measurable business discipline.
“MyCISO has become a central part of how we manage and monitor framework conformance around the globe,” said Stephen Bennett, CISO at Domino’s. “It gives us visibility across multiple frameworks and regions and helps us communicate risk in clear business terms. It delivers practical insight we can act on quickly.”
MyCISO customers report faster program delivery, measurable improvement in maturity, and cost reductions compared with traditional consulting, manual mechanisms and multiple tools.
Following its national recognition, MyCISO is expanding into global markets, including the United States, with new product enhancements focused on advanced risk analytics and seamless integration across enterprise systems.
