New Freedom Fare Price Promise. Plus no solo surcharge
Book a 2027 sailing exclusively through Cruise Traveller in Australia by October 30, 2025
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, has unveiled its new cruise program for 2027, featuring 70 sailings that celebrate traditional seafaring heritage and the timeless pleasures of classic cruising.
The new 2027 program offers sailings across Europe from ports in England and Scotland between January and September, 2027, with itineraries that combine must-see icons with hidden gems, offering journeys that go beyond the typical tourist trail. The new voyages include an expanded selection of shorter cruises of five nights or less for those seeking a shorter escape at sea.
To celebrate the release of the 2027 program, Australian small ship cruise specialist, Cruise Traveller – the exclusive Australian representative for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, is offering Australians a new ‘Freedom Fare Price Promise’, guaranteeing the best value for early bookers. If a lower fare or additional benefits – such as onboard spending or drinks packages – are introduced later, the difference will be honoured with a complimentary cabin upgrade or onboard credit. And for solo travellers, single occupancy cabins will match equivalent twin fares.
These offers are valid for earlybird bookings on 2027 sailings made with Cruise Traveller by October 30, 2025.
And to enhance the appeal of the 2027 season, fares for sailings with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines from January 1, 2026, onwards will include complimentary guided walks ashore, onboard gratuities and selected drinks with lunch and dinner.

UK-based Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines boasts a trio of boutique, more intimate ships – the 1250-guest Balmoral, 1353-guest Borealis and 1338-guest Bolette – which can all access smaller ports bigger ships cannot reach.
Cruise Traveller Managing Director, Joe O’Sullivan, said Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ three classic British liners would offer travellers an expanded range of unforgettable experiences across northern Europe, the Mediterranean and the islands of the Atlantic in 2027. “The program embraces everything from the wild isles of Scotland, the rugged Arctic landscapes of Greenland and Iceland, the raw beauty of Svalbard, the spectacular fjords of Norway, the storied beauty of Mediterranean coastlines and the lush allure of Atlantic isles like the Azores and Canary Islands,” Mr O’Sullivan said.
“There’s also the magic of husky sledding under the Northern Lights, the glamour of the French Riviera, the colourful festivities of the Malta Carnival and even the memorable spectacle of a solar eclipse at sea.
“A voyage with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is all about enjoying the journey and seeing the world in comfort and style. Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ ships are smaller, more personal and full of charm and character, with space to relax in style so that you can savour the timeless pleasures of sea travel,” he said.
