The Brooklet by Cordelia invites guests to a peaceful retreat of private luxury villas where the tranquillity of a hinterland getaway and wellness amenities create the perfect backdrop for both a quiet escape or to mark meaningful moments and occasions.
Hannah Hardy, General Manager at Cordelia, said: “With Cordelia’s vision, The Brooklet becomes more than a luxury hinterland stay. It’s driven by a larger purpose: to create meaningful moments of stillness and celebration, where design, wellness, and intuitive service come together to deliver a seamless guest experience. Whether marking a new beginning, closing a chapter, or simply enjoying a weekend of relaxation, The Brooklet offers a setting for truly memorable moments,” Hardy continued.

About The Brooklet:
Designed as a haven for both stillness and celebration, The Brooklet comprises seven architecturally-designed villas – three one-bedroom, three two-bedroom, and one three-bedroom – all available for secluded escapes or exclusive hire of the estate. Cradled by Byron Bay’s rolling hinterland, the 125 acre property dissolves the boundary between contemporary design and nature, offering guests a retreat where days unfold in rhythm with the land. Mornings are met with soft light spilling across the hills, afternoons with swims, and evenings with firelight and the hum of the countryside.
At The Brooklet, luxury is found in simplicity and in taking time to reconnect with what matters most. Guests are welcomed to self-cater and prepare in advance, or they can choose to have the inhouse concierge team curate every detail of the stay. Each villa can be pre-provisioned with gourmet food and wine, ready to be enjoyed the moment you step through the door. For a touch of exhilaration, guests may hire The Brooklet Porsche for a scenic drive through the hinterland, while the concierge can also arrange airport transfers and effortless transport to and from the region’s best dining destinations. They can take care of coveted restaurant bookings, secure tickets to local events, and for milestone moments, a private chef can be engaged to craft an intimate celebration in the privacy of your villa.
Each villa is stocked with an expertly curated mini bar and wine selection by sommelier Ian Trinkle of Wineism, featuring premium wines, spirits, beers, and gourmet snacks. As well as serving as Head Sommelier for Aria Brisbane and Group Sommelier for Howard Smith Wharves, Ian has been recognised with the Judy Hirst Award for the Best Wine List at the 2018 Australian Wine List of the Year Awards and is a two-time recipient of the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide Sommelier of the Year.
“We’ve created a concise and considered wine list that reflects both The Brooklet and Wineism’s shared values, quality, craftsmanship, and considered luxury. The collection brings together elegant classics and thoughtful discoveries from Australia and beyond, each chosen to complement the spirit of the hinterland and the meaningful moments our guests come here to celebrate,” says Trinkle.
To elevate the in-room experience, The Brooklet team has gone one step further, designing custom mini bars with marble benchtops and dual-climate wine fridges, integrating the ritual of fine wine and considered beverages into each villa stay.
Wellness sits at the heart of the property. Guests are invited to rejuvenate in the 25-metre heated magnesium pool, infrared sauna, hot tub, or invigorating cold plunge; stay energised on the tennis court; or meander along private walking trails that immerse them in Byron’s tranquil hinterland. Bespoke massage treatments can be enjoyed in the privacy of their villa or within the serene treatment space.
The villas embody understated indulgence. Exteriors of shou sugi ban cladding, recycled brick, stone, glass, and timber settle naturally into the landscape, while interiors layer solid oak floors with expansive glass that frame uninterrupted views. Subtle textures and considered lighting create an atmosphere designed to soothe and inspire. Ensuite bathrooms offer ritualistic luxury with premium Sans[ceuticals] hair and skincare products, handmade ceramic tiles, filtered rainwater showers, and freestanding baths overlooking rolling hills.
Every element is crafted to restore the body, quiet the mind, and reawaken a sense of connection.
