Ojo de Dios Workshop at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit and Casa Velas
Beginning in August, Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit and Casa Velas will offer an Ojo de Dios Bag Charm Workshop that invites guests to explore the rich cultural heritage of traditional Mexican craftsmanship. This sacred ceremonial art form of the local Huichol people, translated to God’s Eye, holds deep spiritual significance in Mexican culture as a symbol of protection and divine watchfulness. Guests will receive a comprehensive explanation of the process and its cultural relationship to Mexican heritage. All materials and tools are included, along with complimentary snacks and beverages.
Grand Bag Charms at Grand Velas Riviera Maya
Starting in October, Grand Velas Riviera Maya will debut its signature Grand Bag Charms experience, featuring a unique poolside service that brings creativity directly to guests’ lounge chairs. Guests can craft personalized souvenirs while enjoying the resort’s amenities with a mobile activity cart that brings materials directly to guests. Participants will be able to choose from a selection of premium fabrics and vibrant colors that they can personalize with their initials. Special themed workshops will be aligned with holidays and celebrations throughout the year, and participation is complimentary for all resort guests.
The Heritage Cocktail Experience begins at $3,555 USD for groups of up to 10. Taú Beach Club is part of Velas Resorts, with visits to the club included in the all-inclusive rates for guests staying at Casa Velas hotel. The venue provides premium amenities including an infinity pool, Jacuzzi, Balinese beds, and air-conditioned terrace. The gourmet offerings encompass fresh seafood, traditional aguachile and ceviche, a fresh coconut station, and specialty cocktails with premium liquors.
