Spread the love

It takes a confident resort to know that Australians and Kiwis don’t just need another beach holiday dangled before them; we’ve got our own sand and surf, thank you very much. What Alma Resort Vietnam is offering, however, is rather more enticing: a clever blend of value, family-friendly indulgence, and a cheeky little prize for the travel advisors who send people their way.

On Friday, 12 September, Louise Hill, Alma Resort’s indefatigable voice in the Antipodes and Account Director at The Unique Tourism Collection, will fire up Microsoft Teams to deliver a special industry update. Consider it a virtual briefing room where Australian and New Zealand travel advisors can learn what’s new, hot, and just plain irresistible at Alma.

The broadcast is neatly timed:

  • 11.00 am (EST)

  • 10.30 am (SA/NT)

  • 9.00 am (WA)

  • 1.00 pm (NZ)

(And no, there’ll be no excuse for nodding off — it’s a short, sharp update, not an endurance test).

A holiday with extras

The resort’s Sun & Sea Family Retreat offer is the centrepiece. Families of two adults and two children booking a minimum five-night stay (for travel through to 31 December 2025) will unlock a bundle of extras worth up to USD260. Stretch that to seven nights, and the perks multiply faster than cocktails on a Friday night.

“This isn’t just another package,” Hill insists. “It’s a chance for families to experience Alma at its best space, service, and those little touches that turn a holiday into something unforgettable.”

Advisors, this one’s for you.

And here’s where it gets interesting. When a travel advisor locks in a Sun & Sea booking, they pocket an entry into a draw for a five-night stay in a one-bedroom Ocean View Suite, buffet breakfasts for two adults included, naturally. The prize sits pretty at AUD1599/NZD1750 in value, and one lucky winner will be announced when the campaign wraps at the end of October.

It is the industry’s equivalent of frequent flyer points, but far more pleasant. Instead of sitting in economy with your knees around your ears, you’re sprawled on a balcony overlooking Vietnam’s Cam Ranh coastline.

Why Alma, why now?

Vietnam has gone from niche to mainstream in the ANZ market, and Alma Resort is cleverly positioning itself as a family-friendly alternative to the usual Bali or Fiji run. It’s a sprawling seaside playground, think splash parks for the kids, fine dining for the grown-ups, and a beach that seems to roll on forever.

For advisors, the pitch is simple: book clients a holiday they’ll rave about and put yourself in the running for a little slice.
